Our house offers two alternatives for lodging:
• in the Main Building, the Hotel
• in the Annex Building, the
Student's Hostel
The HOTEL houses 26 rooms with a total of 70 beds. The detail is as follows:

SURROUNDINGS
Montevideo has a mild climate, with moderate heat from September to April and moderately cold
weather from May to August.
The fact that the Kolping Center is located on Gral. Artigas Blvd. provides clear access advantages. So visitors
have to cover considerably shorter distances to any point of interest.

SIGHTSEEING
Most of the typical tourist interest places in Montevideo can be reached by walking a few blocks from the city center.
Special attention should be paid to:

Pocitos - Punta Carretas - El Cerro - El Prado - Carrasco - Ciudad Vieja (Old Town)
- Museums:
Antropology - Archivo Histórico del Cabildo - Casa de Rivera - Contemporary Art - Precolombian and Colonial Art
- Fine Arts - Del Gaucho y Moneda - Maritime and Ecological - Militar General Artigas - Romantic - Visual Arts
From the Artigas Blvd. visitors have direct access to the main national routes that lead to different places of tourist interest
in the country.
- Route 1: Montevideo - La Suiza - Colonia with maritime connection to Buenos Aires / Argentina. It runs along the La Plata River.
- Route 3: Montevideo - Soriano, Paysandú and International Bridges connecting with Argentina, running along the Uruguay River to the Artigas
Department in the border with Brazil.
- Route 5: It crosses the country from south to north, up to the city of Livramento in the border with Brazil.
- Route 9: Runs along the Atlantic coastline, through the main seaside resorts in the country (Atlántida - Piriápolis - Punta del Este - La
Paloma, etc.) and ends in the city of Chuy, in the border with Brazil.
